The PropNex Foundation is a philanthropic initiative launched by PropNex founders, Mr Ismail Gafoor and Mr Alan Lim, with an initial endowment of $10 million, and plans to grow the fund to $25 million over 10 years. It reflects PropNex’s long-term commitment to giving back to society.
The Foundation focuses on supporting underprivileged students, advancing educational initiatives, and contributing to other meaningful charitable causes.
Returns from the Foundation’s investments will fund its programmes, ensuring sustainable support for beneficiaries over the long term.
The PropNex Foundation was officially launched in 2025 at PropNex 25th Anniversary event, graced by the President of the Republic of Singapore, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
The PropNex Education Awards provide financial assistance and recognition to students who demonstrate resilience and commitment to their academic journey, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.
Eligibility criteria are published during the annual application period and typically include Singaporean students who demonstrate financial need, strong character, and commitment to education.
In 2025, a total of 160 students were awarded the PropNex Education Awards, amounting to $254,000 in support.
Recipients are selected after a careful evaluation of all applications. Due to the high volume of submissions, only shortlisted applicants are notified. The final decision rests solely with PropNex, and the selection criteria are not disclosed.
We regret that we are unable to provide individual feedback or accept appeals. All decisions are final.
